The use of `Pectinase' to clarify wine in amounts not exceeding one pound per 100 gallons of wine is considered as being consistent with good commercial practice and may be approved for use by winemakers for this purpose by Assistant Regional Commissioners, Alcohol and Tobacco Tax, pursuant to the provisions of section 240.530 of Wine Regulations.
Revenue Ruling 58-461, page 999, this Bulletin, containing a list of materials which have been approved for treatment of wine, is hereby amplified. See also the amplification contained in Rev. Rul. 58-596, below.
