`Diethyl Pyrocarbonate' may be used, within the general limitations of section 240.524 of the Wine Regulations, as a preservative in wine, provided the total amount used does not exceed 200 parts per million.
Winemakers desiring to use this product as a preservative in the production of wine may obtain approval of Assistant Regional Commissioners, Alcohol and Tobacco Tax, by filing notice pursuant to the provisions of section 240.1052 of the regulations.
