A product classed as `flavored vodka' in accordance with the standards of identity contained in section 21, Class 1(a) of Regulations No. 5, may not contain sugar in excess of 2 1/2 percent. If the sugar content is in excess of the 2 1/2 percent limitation, the product must be designated as a liqueur. In such case, there would be no objection to the use of a subordinate statement on the label indicating that the distilled spirits used in the liqueur are vodka.
