The use of `Pectinol 100-D' to clarify wine, in amounts not exceeding ten pounds per 1000 gallons of wine, within the general limitations of section 240.524 of the Wine Regulations, is considered as being consistent with good commercial practice. Winemakers desiring to use `Pectinol 100-D' in the clarification of wine may obtain the approval of the Assistant Regional Commissioner, Alcohol and Tobacco Tax, by filing notice pursuant to the provisions of section 240.1052 of the regulations.
