Naomita Yadav is a partner at Withers in San Francisco whose holistic tax planning practice is a unique blend of U.S. federal and California state income, gift and estate, and property taxation. She frequently advises clients from various walks of life, ranging from startup founders and their early-stage employees to family business owners and fund principals, and has further experience advising non-citizens considering immigration and US citizens considering expatriation in the cross-border context. Naomita earned her B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and Psychology at Yale University and a joint JD/MBA at the University of Michigan Law School and Stephen M. Ross School of Business, respectively. She has shared her expertise with the Tax Notes community through her column (Tax) Matters of Life and Death since 2022.
