Kathleen, who joined Tax Analysts in 2024, supervises Tax Notes Today Federal, managing its planning, editing, and overall content direction. She evaluates news stories for publication, offers editorial guidance, sets coverage priorities, and leads a team of reporters, editors, and lawyers. She is committed to delivering the most comprehensive, in-depth coverage of U.S. tax news developments. Before joining Tax Analysts, she served as a reporter and editor for CQ Roll Call, MLex Market Insight, Stateline.org, and Internet World, and she was the Marco Island (Florida) bureau chief for the Naples Daily News. She also was the inaugural journalist in residence at Marymount University. Kathleen has a BS in journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism and an MA in religion from Yale Divinity School.
