Bill Hoke is a legal reporter who has been writing for Tax Notes Today International since 2014. Before coming to Tax Analysts, he worked as an audit manager for a state revenue department, a financial journalist in South America, a manager for an oil services company in Africa, and a financial controller in Greece. He started his career working for a major auditing firm after passing the CPA exam. Bill, who has a degree in History from the University of Illinois – Chicago, was a finalist for the 2017 Society of Professional Journalists Dateline Awards.
