Tax Analysts Named a Top D.C. Workplace by The Washington Post for Fourth Straight Year

June 17, 2022

Tax Analysts announced today that it has once again been recognized by The Washington Post as a Washington, D.C. Top Workplace for 2022 — the fourth consecutive award for the organization. Top workplace winners are chosen based on employee survey responses, which are compared against industry benchmarks.

At Tax Analysts, employees can pursue a fulfilling career and still make time for other priorities such as family, travel, and giving back to the community. Employees enjoy a generous benefits package, a health-driven wellness program with an increased influence on mental health, and competitive salaries. The organization offers a casual work environment with a relaxed dress code, family-friendly (and dog-friendly!) policies, and a flexible atmosphere that caters to the needs of working professionals. This culture provides a spirit of collaboration and innovation that lets talented individuals come together to produce great work. Work-life integration, integrity, and respect for the individual are the three core values that shape Tax Analysts.

“It continues to be such an honor to be consistently recognized for this award, year in and year out,” said Tax Analysts President and CEO Cara Griffith. “It isn’t lost on me how rare it is to find a place to work like Tax Analysts, where we’ve made such a commitment to maintaining our culture despite all the curves that have been thrown our way over the last few years. It’s still so open and welcoming, it’s still a collaborative and supportive environment, and it’s still filled with friendly faces.”

Tax Analysts is known for its ardent advocacy for transparency in tax systems worldwide. As part of that work, the organization offers free access to the Internal Revenue Code, regulations, and many other primary source documents through Tax Notes Research, its federal tax law library. Tax Analysts is also recognized for the Tax Notes portfolio of products; it is the first source of essential daily news, analysis, and commentary for tax professionals whose success depends on being trusted for their expertise.

In addition to its comprehensive, nonpartisan coverage of federal, U.S. state and local, and international tax news, Tax Notes offers commentary and analysis that contributes important voices to the discussion and understanding of tax policy and administration. Tax Notes also offers research and reference tools, as well as services focusing on exempt organizations, state tax audit materials, international tax treaties, and transfer pricing.
